EU climate service: more days of 'extreme heat stress' than ever before in 2023

The previous year was one of the warmest years in Europe since records began. There were more days of "extreme heat stress" recorded than ever before. The glaciers in the Alps shrank by ten percent over two years, according to the latest report from the EU's Copernicus climate service.
