Environmental Council: Only a declaration of intent on the NDC planned

The EU environment ministers are meeting in Brussels on Thursday for a special Council meeting. (European Union)

Following the postponement of the EU's 2040 climate target, the European environment ministers will also postpone the NDC, which is important for the COP30. However, the declaration of intent could already define a target range for the European contribution.
