China: New coal-fired power plants to counter fluctuations in renewables.

China wants to build new coal-fired power plants by at least 2027. They are intended to compensate for fluctuations in renewable energies, which is a technical challenge. The new power plants should also capture CO₂ and add biomass where possible.
