Article 6.4: What COP29 agreed on and why there is criticism

Late on Monday evening, COP29 agreed on new trade rules for greenhouse gas reductions under Article 6.4 of the Paris Agreement. However, this does not mean that the issue is off the table. There is also disagreement about the impact of the agreement.
