German–American relations: Why communication between the Pentagon and the BMVg remains difficult

The German government was not informed about the military operation in Venezuela. Ministerial communication is scarce in other respects also. Only the Global Force Posture Review will show whether this also has a military impact on the US troop presence in Europe.
