Cyber Resilience Act: ZVEI warns of implementation bottlenecks

The German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association (ZVEI) has criticized the inadequate resources allocated to market surveillance under the Cyber Resilience Act. The Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) is set to oversee implementation, but the association believes the planned resources are insufficient.

ZVEI: German electrical and digital industry increases exports

According to the German electrical and digital association ZVEI, electrical exports to other European Union countries had compensated for increased exports to China and the US by 2025. Despite this, ZVEI President Gunther Kegel emphasized the importance of diversification. Local content requirements should remain temporary exceptions, he said.
