EU agrees on Net-Zero Industry Act

The EU member states and the European Parliament have agreed on the Net-Zero Industry Act. The aim is to promote the wind and solar industry. However, support for CCS and nuclear energy is also planned.

Member states and the European Parliament have agreed on the Net-Zero Industry Act. Europe aims to become a leading hub for manufacturers of wind turbines, heat pumps or solar panels. Some experts doubt whether the law will have a significant impact in Germany.
