COP30: Marina Silva proposes roadmap for phasing out fossil fuels
The Brazilian environment minister is calling for negotiations on the implementation of the fossil fuel phase-out at COP30. A “just energy transition” must include producers and consumers. The EU and island states respond positively, while Saudi Arabia rejects the proposal.
