Tesla is suspected of espionage in China. Military personnel and employees of state-owned companies are to be banned from using the US company's EVs. This is seen as payback for the espionage allegations against Huawei in the US. However, there is no evidence for either accusation. The pressure on Tesla comes at an inopportune time.
