'Encounters': An art space as a meeting place for the diaspora
In a former hookah bar in Berlin-Wedding, Hong Kong curator Mary Lee has created ‘encounters,’ a space for art books and meet-ups. Her goal: to bring together Hong Kongers, Taiwanese, and mainland Chinese – despite political tensions and conflicting identities.
