Strategic patient transport: Civilian healthcare system not designed for large numbers of patients

The German federal and state governments are developing structures to manage large numbers of patients in the event of a “casus foederis”, as the civilian healthcare system is ill-prepared for such a scenario. This became evident during the Medic Quadriga exercise at Berlin Airport.
