LIBE Committee gives green light for entry and exit system

The Committee on Home Affairs (LIBE) has endorsed a registration system for the digitalized storage of travellers from third countries at the EU's external borders. This concerns travelers with short-term visas or short stays without visas. Member States can introduce the system gradually over a six-month period.
