'Enshrining scientific freedom to keep it the norm'

Christian Democrat MEP Christian Ehler wants to bring about an EU regulation on academic freedom via a motion for a resolution. At the beginning of the legislative period, Commission President von der Leyen had held out the prospect of such a project.
