WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control: EU has no voice

Measures to curb smoking are discussed at the WHO COP11 conference. (European Union, 2019)

The member states were unable to agree on a substantive position at COP11 for a WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control. For this reason, the EU will not have a say in the matter at the conference, which begins today in Geneva.
