Uproar in the CDU/CSU group: Why Daniel Caspary was only narrowly re-elected

Daniel Caspary was confirmed for two and a half years as head of the 29 German members of the CDU and CSU in the European Parliament. He had one opposing candidate. He prevailed against Sven Simon by 16 votes to eleven with one abstention.
