Trump’s Board of Peace: Italy seeks “observer” status

Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has now announced that Italy will participate in US President Donald Trump’s controversial Board of Peace after all, attending as an “observer.” She also distanced herself from German Chancellor Friedrich Merz’s criticism of the right-wing MAGA movement.
