Spain: RRF funds must not be used to fund pensions

Funds from the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF) may not be used for pension payments. The Commission has clarified this with regard to Spain. The Spanish Court of Auditors had criticized the fact that €2.38 billion of RRF funds had been allocated to pensions.
