SMR strategy: Commission eyes urban deployment and streamlined approvals

According to a draft of its SMR strategy, the European Commission plans to streamline approval procedures for small nuclear reactors. The proposed model is based on cooperation between the French nuclear regulator and supervisory authorities in other EU member states.
