Scientists doubt compensation for millions of older diesel cars

There is scientific opposition to the court's assessment that "thermal windows" in older diesel cars are illegal defeat devices. Thus, the authors of the study by the Scientific Society for Automotive and Engine Technology (WKM) doubt that owners have a claim for compensation from manufacturers.
