Scholz: Banking union only conceivable if institutional protection for savings banks is retained

At the meeting of the Volksbanken and Raiffeisenbanken, the German Chancellor called for corrections to the EU Commission's proposal on European deposit protection and the reform of the crisis management framework for banks.
