Nitrate pollution: After Belgium and France, now Germany could face infringement proceedings

Nitrate levels in groundwater are too high in the Belgian region of Flanders and in drinking water in France. Germany is not immune to fines for nitrate surpluses either. The Federal Ministry of Agriculture is still keeping a low profile.
