Merz: Free trade instead of a 'tariff spiral' with the USA

The TTIP trade and investment agreement with the USA has been on hold since 2017. The CDU/CSU's candidate for chancellor, Friedrich Merz, has now spoken out in favor of resuming talks on a free trade agreement with the Trump administration.
