COVID-19 funds for Spanish pensions: Commission responds cautiously

The Spanish Court of Auditors has found that Pedro Sánchez’s government diverted approximately €2.4 billion from the EU Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF) into the Spanish pension system. There are now indications that the amount may have been as high as €10 billion.
