BDI contradicts Lemke on air pollution control: 'Driving bans possible'

The trilogue agreement on the Clean Air Directive reached on Tuesday has provoked conflicting reactions. Minister for the Environment Steffi Lemke believes that German interests have been taken into account, while industry believes that the compromise jeopardizes the transformation to climate neutrality.
