Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg and Bremen exert pressure: Space budget to be doubled.

The Minister Presidents of Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg and Bremen are jointly calling for a massive increase in German space funding. The CSU, Greens and SPD are pulling in the same direction: They want two billion euros for the ESA, one billion nationally, per year.
