Von der Leyen: review of combustion engine phase-out to be expedited

Ursula von der Leyen intends to have the ban on combustion engines, scheduled for 2035, reviewed immediately after the European elections. She announced this to Union politicians at the EPP Congress in Bucharest, where delegates elected her as the lead candidate for the European elections.
