Hoekstra and Šefčovič: Environment Committee ends stalemate

The Parliament will not further oppose the appointment of Commissioners-designate Hoekstra and Šefčovič. The supplementary statements of the two Timmermans successors were sufficient to convince the majority of ENVI members. However, some questions remain.
