Grid expansion: How the EU states want to strengthen the internal electricity market

At the end of May, the EU energy ministers will discuss how the expansion of the electricity grids can be accelerated. In the draft conclusions, they call on the Commission to issue guidelines on cost sharing and help prevent grid bottlenecks in local distribution grids.
