Bulgaria: Why the pro-Russian election winner won’t be a new Orbán

António Costa and Ursula von der Leyen have congratulated Rumen Radev on his victory in the parliamentary elections. In Brussels, however, reactions have been mixed. The election winner in Sofia is likely to lack the leeway and funding needed to follow Viktor Orbán’s example.
