France: Votes of no confidence fail

France’s minority government survived two motions of no confidence following a controversial budget procedure. The motions from the right-wing nationalists and the left failed to gain a majority in the National Assembly.

ZVEI: German electrical and digital industry increases exports

According to the German electrical and digital association ZVEI, electrical exports to other European Union countries had compensated for increased exports to China and the US by 2025. Despite this, ZVEI President Gunther Kegel emphasized the importance of diversification. Local content requirements should remain temporary exceptions, he said.
