Space: German armed forces plan to launch hundreds of satellites

Military reconnaissance is on the verge of a paradigm shift: Artificial intelligence (AI), data fusion and high-resolution satellites are making every operation more transparent than ever. Alliance partners must be able to integrate into these systems quickly, says Armin Fleischmann, head of the Bundeswehr’s Department of Cyber and Information Domain (CID) Planning and Digitalization.
