ECJ further clarifies claims for damages under GDPR

The European Court of Justice (ECJ) provides clarity in a further ruling on the right to damages in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The judges come to the conclusion that the right to damages, as set out in Article 82 GDPR, does not establish a general right to compensation for immaterial damages.
