Russia: How the EU plans to ban gas and oil imports

The European Commission has unveiled its plan to phase out Russian fossil fuel imports. Natural gas will be phased out gradually by the end of 2027. For crude oil, Member States are first expected to submit their own phase-out plans.

Study: Governments not very innovative in promoting clean tech.

According to a cep study, governments in the EU are predominantly promoting conventional large-scale projects such as wind farms or grid expansion, and hardly any new areas such as battery production or electrolysers. Governments are also conservative when it comes to instruments.
