EU Commission wants 'paradigm shift towards a war economy'

Similar to the Covid-19 vaccines, the EU member states are to jointly purchase defense equipment. The EU Commission intends to present its strategy for the European defense industry next Tuesday. Internal Market Commissioner Breton speaks of a paradigm shift.
