Energy policy as a security issue: Why new gas-fired power plants jeopardize Germany's future

However, the shifting global situation requires a resilient power grid. However, amid a new global situation, Germany's security requires a resilient power grid – renewable energies combined with storage and a reform of the electricity system instead of subsidizing expensive natural gas.
