REN21: Expensive financing slows global energy transition

Renewable energy is growing rapidly worldwide. However, neither their capacity nor the investments made are sufficient to meet climate goals. This is lamented in the new annual report from the Renewable Energy Network REN21. Besides high capital costs, it also cites other problems.
