FÖS: Where additional billions for climate action could come from

In view of the narrower scope for public climate investments, the Forum Ökologisch-Soziale Marktwirtschaft (FÖS) proposes linking environmental taxes to inflation. This could generate €9 billion a year. According to the FÖS, reducing fossil fuel subsidies would free up as much as €24 billion per year.
