Flood risk: Sea levels along coastlines significantly higher than surmised

Studies assessing flood risk have systematically underestimated today’s sea levels on average, Dutch researchers have found. The biggest discrepancies appear along coastlines in Southeast Asia and the Indo-Pacific.
