EU-Mercosur: What the agreement means for climate action

More agricultural and automotive trade could lead to higher emissions, several NGOs are warning just prior to the signing of the agreement between Mercosur and the EU. The German Ministry of the Environment points to clauses in the agreement on protecting the climate and the forests.
