Energy transition: Offshore wind capacity could triple by 2030

The offshore wind industry could triple its power generation capacity by 2030, according to optimistic forecasts from think tank Ember. However, both the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) and IRENA have revised down previous forecasts.
