COP29 troika wants new climate plans in time for UN General Assembly

In its second letter, the COP Troika calls on the UN member states to submit their national climate plans to the UN earlier than planned. The idea is to send a signal for compliance with the 1.5-degree limit. The Troika countries want to lead by example.
