CCS: WWF warns against 2,000 kilometers of pipeline in the North Sea

Germany would need a 10,000-kilometer pipeline network to store CO2 from industrial processes in the North Sea. A new WWF study shows that 2,000 kilometers of pipeline would run in the North Sea. The organization calls for better protection of the sea and a review of land-based CO2 storage.
