Carbon emissions: Fossil fuel state-owned enterprises are the biggest polluters

Global carbon emissions can be traced back to a handful of oil, gas, coal and cement companies. State-owned enterprises such as Saudi Aramco or Coal India contribute more CO2 emissions than their privately-owned competitors.
