Finance: Why the German government knows almost no climate-damaging subsidies

The tax concession for agricultural diesel is one of the few subsidies that the German government classifies as harmful to the climate.

While the Federal Environment Agency and NGOs are calling for the reduction of climate-damaging subsidies, the German government states in its latest subsidy report that there are hardly any. This is due to different definitions and assessments.
