Finances: How the traffic light coalition failed to reduce fossil subsidies

The traffic light coalition wanted to reduce climate-damaging subsidies in order to use the money for other purposes. An internal assessment by the Federal Environment Agency shows that it has achieved very little. Worldwide, fossil fuel subsidies from the G7 countries are reaching new record levels.
