Fact check: Merz's plan to quickly build CCS gas-fired power plants is hardly realistic

Friedrich Merz has announced that new gas-fired power plants equipped with CCS will be built quickly to ensure energy security during dark doldrums. However, there is no such commercial gas-fired power plant in the world, and the technology is not fully developed and is expensive.
