Climate adaptation: UNEP expects a shortfall of at least USD 284 billion in 2035

In 2023, industrialized countries financed international climate adaptation to the tune of around USD 26 billion. This was less than in the previous year, according to the latest UNEP Adaptation Gap Report, and the shortfall will remain large in the future.
