Taiwan: Opposition party KMT in talks with CCP leaders

The vice chair of Taiwan’s opposition party Kuomintang met with CP chief ideologist Wang Huning, among others, in Beijing. Meanwhile, Taiwan’s President Lai Ching-te appealed for the country to follow the example of other democracies in terms of trade and the economy.
