Military resumes high-level dialog with the US

The US Chief of Staff, Air Force General Charles Q. Brown, and his Chinese counterpart General Liu Zhenli held a virtual meeting, according to an announcement by the Pentagon. It is the first such exchange in 16 months. The Biden administration sees the meeting as a sign that military relations between the two countries are returning to normal.
