Before the Trump-Xi meeting: US expects fentanyl measures, China underscores position on Taiwan

US President Donald Trump expects a reduction in US tariffs on Chinese goods in return for Chinese measures against the export of fentanyl precursor chemicals. China is underlining its position with regard to Taiwan.
